Scott Provencher is a healthcare lawyer with Wright Lindsey Jennings who assists clients in matters related to compliance with HIPAA and HITECH, the Physician Self-Referral (Stark) Law, Anti-Kickback and EKRA Statutes, and EMTALA. Scott graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood in 1989. He attended the University of Arkansas and graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in economics. He then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law where he served as a Note and Comment Editor on the Law Review and secretary of the Student Bar Association. He graduated with high honors in 1996. Before entering private practice, Scott served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert L. Brown, Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, from 1996 to 1998. Scott is married to Leslie Jewell Provencher (Mount St. Mary’s, 1985; University of Arkansas, 1989). The couple has two sons, William Provencher (Catholic High, 2020; University of Arkansas, 2024); and Nathan Provencher (Catholic High, 2022; current senior at the University of Arkansas). They attend Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock.
