Arkansas Named America’s Most Improved State for Business in 2026 National Rankings

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 9, 2026) — Arkansas has been recognized as CNBC’s America’s Most Improved State for Business, climbing 13 spots in the 2026 America’s Top States for Business rankings, the largest improvement of any state this year.

The annual rankings evaluate all 50 states across key categories that influence business competitiveness, including workforce, economy, infrastructure, cost of doing business, technology and innovation, quality of life, and business friendliness.

Arkansas’s rise reflects continued momentum in strengthening the state’s business climate through investments in workforce development, economic growth, and initiatives that support employers, entrepreneurs, and communities across the state.
