Southwest Power Pool
Rocky Tolentino currently serves as Southwest Power Pool’s Sr. Director of Integrated Security. In this role, he maintains oversight of all aspects of security to include Cybersecurity, Physical Security and Emergency Management. He leads teams that are responsible for data security, the gathering and analyses of cyber threat intelligence, and the planning of continuity of operations in order to better protect one subsector of U.S. critical infrastructure, the electric grid.
Rocky joined Southwest Power Pool in August 2020, following a nearly 25 yr. career as a Special Agent with the FBI. During his time as an agent, Rocky served as a Diplomat in several U.S. Embassies across Europe and South America. In these positions, he developed policy and managed risk for all FBI operations in country while coordinating with foreign intelligence and law enforcement agencies. He managed several high-profile counterintelligence and cyber investigations and most notably led all U.S. investigative efforts in response to the 2017 Barcelona terrorist attacks.
Rocky is a native Texan and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is enthusiastic about joining the next Leadership Arkansas class to further develop his understanding of the various economic engines in the state and to engage with current and future business leaders to build a stronger Arkansas.
