Marq Golden

Marq Golden defines himself a true public servant. He has twenty years of experience within government and politics where he shares his knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders. Marq’s experience has been defined by taking on challenges and improving the lives of Arkansans locally and statewide.

Marq views himself as a true Arkansan. During his childhood, he resided in the southern part of the state and later graduated high school from Pine Bluff’s Watson Chapel. As a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Marq often volunteered and coordinated community activities which serve various communities.

In 2020, Marq joined UAMS to serve as the Director of External and Governmental Relations. His prior public service includes the City of Little Rock and the Department of Human Services. These experiences have provided extensive opportunities to serve, lead, and develop others.
