Toni Cook serves as a Senior Manager on the Global Procurement Team at Walmart. Leading all procurement for Energy Transformation and Innovation, Toni is at the forefront of driving sustainable and innovative energy solutions within one of the world’s largest retail giants. Her role involves pioneering initiatives that significantly contribute to Walmart’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
Born and raised in Central Arkansas, Toni’s educational journey began at Arkansas Tech University. She went on to earn master’s degrees from Kentucky State University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, equipping her with a robust foundation in business administration and public policy. Toni’s commitment to innovation has been recognized through several prestigious awards. In 2021, she was honored as one of the Top 100 Government Influencers in the country, securing the #56 spot. In 2022, she received the Rising Star Award, and in 2023, she was awarded Walmart’s Making a Difference Award.
Beyond her professional achievements, Toni is an avid sports enthusiast and a foodie. She enjoys traveling to watch games and exploring local food scenes. Committed to giving back, Toni volunteers with several community organizations that support women and children.
Toni resides in Fayetteville with her husband, James Hopper, a Leadership Arkansas alumnus and the Director of Outreach at the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine.
