Crenisha Wright, Chief Information Officer at Arkansas Foodbank, has leveraged her 20+ years of IT expertise to drive transformational change in the organization. With a strong foundation in IT management, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence, she has successfully led the implementation of various technology-driven initiatives since joining the organization in July 2021. Her notable achievements include securing a grant to revitalize the network infrastructure, launching the food bank’s first client-intake database system, and upgrading software and telecommunication systems to industry standards.
Before joining Arkansas Foodbank, Crenisha held various technology-focused roles in the education sector. Her academic credentials include a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Arkansas, a MBA in Management from Texas A&M University, a Graduate Certificate in Data Science, and a MS in Information Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences at UALR.
As a respected leader at the intersection of technology and food banking, Crenisha has been recognized for her expertise. She has been invited to speak at the Feeding America National Conference on the main stage on leveraging business intelligence tools for food banking. She was named one of Arkansas Money & Politics’ readers’ favorite C-Suite executives in 2023. She also serves on the Pulaski County Broadband Board and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
