Arkansas State Chamber/AIA Hosts 2026 Legislative Reception in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 14, 2026) – The Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas welcomed lawmakers, business leaders, and community members on Tuesday for its annual Legislative Reception in Little Rock.

Held during both the general and fiscal sessions of the Arkansas General Assembly, the reception is a longstanding tradition that brings together key stakeholders from across the state to connect, collaborate, and engage on the issues shaping Arkansas’s economic future.
This year’s event honored members of the 95th General Assembly and provided an opportunity for attendees to gather under the “Big Tent” at the State Chamber/AIA headquarters, just steps from the State Capitol, fostering meaningful conversations between the business community and public officials.

“This event is really about bringing people together,” said Randy Zook, President and CEO of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas. “It gives our members, lawmakers, and community leaders a chance to connect in a more informal setting and have real conversations about the future of our state.”
The Arkansas State Chamber/AIA is committed to supporting a strong business climate through advocacy, collaboration, and engagement. Through its governmental affairs program, the organization works closely with policymakers to advance legislation that protects, preserves, and enhances Arkansas’s business community. In addition, the State Chamber/AIA actively partners with local chambers, economic development organizations, trade associations, and leaders across the state to strengthen Arkansas’s economy.
“As a member-driven organization, everything we do is focused on supporting Arkansas businesses,” Zook said. “Opportunities like this help strengthen those relationships and ensure the business community’s voice is part of the conversation.”
As private, non-profit organizations funded entirely by member dues, the State Chamber and AIA remain dedicated to representing the interests of Arkansas businesses and ensuring their voices are heard at every level of government.
Events like the Legislative Reception underscore the organization’s mission to build relationships, encourage dialogue, and support policies that drive growth and opportunity across Arkansas.
