Daily Legislative Update: Monday, June 17, 2024

Below is the schedule for the Extraordinary Session of the 94th General Assembly of the Arkansas State Legislature. Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has called this extraordinary (special) session to address issues including tax reductions and funding for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. The detailed schedule for the session is as follows:

Monday:

• House and Senate convened at noon.
• Joint Budget Committee will meet after adjournment of the House and Senate.
• Special Language Committee will meet following the Budget Committee meeting.
• Joint Budget Committee will reconvene.
• Senate Revenue & Tax Committee will meet 15 minutes after the Budget Committee adjourns.
• House Revenue and Tax Committee will meet 15 minutes after the Senate Revenue and Tax Committee adjourns.

Tuesday:

• Senate will convene at 9 a.m.
• House will convene at 10 a.m.
• Committees will meet in the afternoon.

Wednesday:

• Senate will convene at 9 a.m.
• House will convene at 10 a.m.
