Take the first step toward effective leadership with the Arkansas State Chamber/AIA’s new Frontline Leader Development Series. This program is designed to equip recently promoted leaders or those preparing for leadership roles with the essential skills to inspire, motivate, and guide their teams to success. This highly interactive series, designed for newly promoted or emerging leaders, focuses on leadership fundamentals, communication strategies, emotional intelligence, and managing difficult conversations.

About the Cohort

The Frontline Leader Development Series is designed for a select group of 25 participants, creating a collaborative and supportive environment where emerging leaders can grow together. This intimate cohort fosters meaningful connections and peer learning, allowing participants to share experiences, challenges, and insights as they develop essential leadership skills. Guided by expert instructors, the cohort will engage in interactive sessions and hands-on activities, ensuring every participant gains practical tools to lead with confidence and effectiveness.

 

2025 Cohort Sessions

The first cohort of the 2025 series consists of 3 separate 4-hour sessions.

Session 1: Leadership Fundamentals

Learn the building blocks of leadership to motivate, coach, communicate with, and teach employees in such a way that they are more effective in their jobs.
This session will take place on February 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/AIA 1200 W. Capitol Ave. Little Rock Arkansas.

Session 2: Effective Communication

Effectively communicate and cooperate with co-workers, executives, and external people through email or verbal correspondence.
This session will take place on March 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/AIA 1200 W. Capitol Ave. Little Rock Arkansas.

Session 3: Emotional Intelligence & Difficult Conversations

These skills give you the ability to be aware of your own, and others’ emotions assisting you in approaching difficult conversations.
This session will take place on March 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/AIA 1200 W. Capitol Ave. Little Rock Arkansas.
