Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders proclaims Chamber of Commerce Week in Arkansas
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has officially proclaimed October 13-19, 2024, as Chamber of Commerce Week in Arkansas, recognizing the significant contributions of local chambers of commerce to the state’s economic and civic vitality.
The State Chamber/AIA joins the Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives (AEDCE) and communities across the state in honoring the contributions of local chambers to the success and growth of Arkansas!
Arkansas is home to more than 140 local Chambers of Commerce, which have played a pivotal role in advancing the economic, professional, and cultural life of the state for over 158 years. The first local chamber was established in 1866, and since then, these organizations have been essential in fostering job creation, promoting business growth, and developing infrastructure throughout the state.
Local chambers continue to promote their communities by encouraging business expansion, improving education, and enhancing civic engagement, laying a strong foundation for a better future for all Arkansans.
Join us in celebrating Chamber of Commerce Week!
