Leadership Arkansas announces Class XIX

 August 20, 2024 (Little Rock, Ark.) – The Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas (State Chamber/AIA) today announced that 53 individuals from throughout Arkansas have been selected to join Leadership Arkansas Class XIX.

“Our selection committee carefully evaluated each candidate’s achievements and potential, ensuring that those chosen have exemplified exceptional leadership and dedication to our state,” Leadership Arkansas Program Director Toni Lindsey said. “The new members of Class XIX bring a wealth of experience from a broad range of sectors. I am excited to witness their enthusiasm and love for Arkansas grow as they engage with the program.”

The Underwriting Sponsor for the 2024-2025 Leadership Arkansas program is Central Moloney. The Presenting Sponsors are ARcare, Nucor, Southwest Power Pool, and Walmart. Statewide Program Sponsors are Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation, Entergy Arkansas, Farm Credit Services of Arkansas, and Summit Utilities.

Leadership Arkansas is a State Chamber/AIA program designed to develop emerging and established business, civic, and community leaders who have the desire and potential to create a better Arkansas.

The participants of Leadership Arkansas Class XIX will engage in nine scheduled sessions designed to deepen their understanding of leadership, economic development, agriculture, education, tourism, government, workforce development, and more.

The mission of Leadership Arkansas is to challenge, inform, inspire, and engage current and future business and civic leaders to enhance the economies of – and the communities within – the state of Arkansas. Leadership Arkansas’ vision is to build a strong and vibrant state by training community leaders to recognize and capitalize on opportunities, motivating others to strengthen regions and communities, and promoting the election and appointment of officials who understand the diverse aspects of leading the growth of Arkansas.

Since its inception in 2005, Leadership Arkansas has educated and engaged nearly 1,000 alumni, who represent almost every county in Arkansas.
