REGULAR LEGISLATIVE SESSION BEGINS
The Arkansas House and Senate will convene in the 94th meeting of the Arkansas
General Assembly at noon today. Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders will give an
address to the House and Senate at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow from the House Chamber.

STATE CHAMBER/AIA LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION
The State Chamber/AIA will host a Legislative Reception on January 17 from 4:30 p.m.
to 6:30 p.m. We’d love to see you under the “Big Tent” on the State Chamber/AIA
parking lot!

PREFILED BILLS and BILL TRACKING
During the prefiling period, which began in mid-November, State Senators filed 37 bills

BILL SCORING
We plan to score floor votes on key bills again this session. Bills subject to scoring will be
those that address issues in our Legislative Agenda and/or are discussed in a Daily
Legislative Update.
