Brian is a seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience in the steel industry working for Nucor Steel Arkansas. He has successfully led both production and mechanical maintenance teams. His current role is the casting mechanical maintenance supervisor. Throughout his career, Brian has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Brian brings the values of discipline, service, and leadership to every aspect of his professional and personal life. In addition to his responsibilities at Nucor, he is deeply involved in community outreach and volunteer efforts. Through Nucor-sponsored initiatives, he actively supports Area 13 Special Olympics, Arkansas Be Pro Be Proud events, and numerous other programs that help strengthen local communities and create opportunities for future generations.
Beyond his corporate career, Brian has pursued entrepreneurship through the ownership and operation of small local businesses, with some of his work and business relationships extending worldwide. His entrepreneurial experience has provided him with a broad perspective on leadership, customer relationships, and business development across diverse industries and markets.
Brian is also a private pilot and aircraft owner, combining his passion for aviation with a commitment to continual learning and personal growth. Outside of work and aviation, he dedicates his time to serving in men’s and children’s ministry, where he mentors, teaches, and invests in the lives of others.
Whether leading teams in a manufacturing environment, serving his community, mentoring the next generation, or pursuing excellence in aviation and business, Brian is driven by a commitment to leadership, service, and making a positive impact on those around him.
Brian attended Arkansas State University and graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in business finance. Brian is married with 2 children. He and his wife have lived in northeast Arkansas for 25 years.
