Daniela Medina
Tyson Foods

Daniela Medina is the Sustainability Communications Lead for the Commodity Purchasing Group at Tyson Foods. In this role, she supports the company’s agriculture-focused sustainability efforts by working closely with internal teams and external partners—including row crop farmers across Tyson Foods Local Grain Services network. Her work not only strengthens relationships across the supply chain but also helps ensure farmers’ voices and experiences are heard.
Though not originally from Arkansas, Daniela has intentionally built both her career and her personal community here. She has made it a priority to listen, learn, and lead in ways that honor the values of the state while contributing to its continued growth. Her professional background includes roles with The University of Arkansas, The Poultry Federation, The Certified Angus Beef brand, and Arkansas and Texas FFA —experiences that have shaped her understanding of agricultural advocacy and public engagement.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications and Leadership Development from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Agricultural Communications from the University of Arkansas.
Outside of her professional role, Daniela is committed to serving Northwest Arkansas. She volunteers with the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas, supporting efforts to break the cycle of domestic violence, and with Dress for Success NWA, helping women achieve economic independence. She also serves on the University of Arkansas Dale Bumpers College Alumni Board, fostering connections between students, alumni, and the agricultural industry. Daniela is passionate about building bridges between people, ideas, and institutions—and she brings both energy and intention to every effort she takes on.
