David is a seasoned energy industry professional serving as business development representative at Black Hills Energy in Arkansas.
With nearly 15 years of experience in the gas industry, David oversees a portfolio of high-volume accounts, including major clients such as Walmart and Tyson as well as universities and leaders in the steel, agriculture, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
David’s expertise spans contract negotiation and execution, regulatory support, and strategic infrastructure development. He works cross-functionally with legal, engineering and operations teams to design and implement custom rate structures and main line agreements that support customer growth and system expansion. His leadership in project management ensures capital construction projects are delivered on time and within budget.
He serves as Black Hills Energy’s point of contact for renewable natural gas (RNG) projects and data centers in Arkansas.
David is a key figure in Arkansas’ economic development landscape, acting as the primary liaison for new business opportunities and infrastructure partnerships. His strategic vision and operational excellence continue to shape the future of energy delivery and sustainability in the region.
He has also been serving as a community ambassador for Black Hills Energy for almost three years. Ambassadors coordinate and support volunteer service projects and represent the company at community events. David is a graduate of the Leadership Springdale program and serves on a fundraising committee for The Family Network in Springdale.
David and his wife, Amanda, have two sons, Cohen (6) and Charlie (3). They live in Fayetteville and are members of Fellowship Fayetteville. David loves all things Razorback –especially the Diamond Hogs.
