Hana Settles

Hana Settles is the Digital Marketing Manager at Saracen Casino Resort.

Born and raised in Wynne, Arkansas, Hana is a Wynne High School alum from the class of 2013 with a lot of YellowJacket pride still near and dear to her heart. She is the daughter of two teachers, one of whom is a football coach, and the other, a former basketball and softball coach.

Following graduation, Hana went on to play basketball, volleyball and softball for Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas during her freshman year. After one year of nonstop athletics, she transferred and completed her degree in Public Relations and minor in Digital Filmmaking at the University of Central Arkansas. She was a member of the Delta Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa, where she held the title of Intramural Chairman for 2 years.

Post college graduation, Hana worked for the Arkansas Travelers for a couple of summers as part of their broadcast staff, but was then given the wonderful opportunity to fully start her career at THV11 in Little Rock. She started off as a Digital Content Producer, creating content and writing thousands of articles for their website and social media platforms. She was eventually promoted to Digital Storyteller, with the opportunity to co-host THV11’s lifestyle show “The Vine” with the one and only Ashley King. Hana reported and interviewed many Arkansans about their special work throughout the state’s communities and was actually proposed to on live TV by her high school sweetheart.

When it was time for Hana’s journey to end at THV11, she was presented with the opportunity to work for Arkansas’s first stand-alone casino in Pine Bluff — Saracen Casino Resort — to help build their social media platforms. Hana said this was the best possible career move she could have ever made! She has since worked at Saracen for two years and has enjoyed every minute of it. She was hired as the Social Media Specialist but has since been promoted to the Digital Marketing Manager position with hopes of becoming a director one day! She has also been named as the emcee/host of Saracen Casino’s monthly giveaways, which airs live on the last Saturday of every month on KARK.

In her personal life, she’s married to the love of her life, Franklin, who is a detective with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office. They have one precious dog named Gylo, with the hopes of having children one day in the future! They are members of the Greater Little Rock New Life Church campus, and have dedicated their lives to tell the world about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In her spare time, Hana enjoys watching all things Arkansas Razorbacks, anything football or basketball related, working out at Nooma Studios in Little Rock, seeing the latest movies or shows and spending time with her family as much as possible.
