Jason Culpepper
Simmons Bank
Jason Culpepper serves as Senior Vice President of Retail Small Business Banking for Simmons Bank, where he is leading the development and growth of the bank’s newly created Small Business Banking division. In this role, he is responsible for building the
team, strategy and operating model designed to better serve small business clients across the bank’s footprint, with an emphasis on relationship development, deposit growth, lending, treasury management and merchant services.
Prior to his current role, Jason served as Senior Vice President of Branch and Consumer Banking, with responsibility for Simmons Bank’s branch and consumer banking organization. Throughout his 11 years with Simmons, he has held a variety of senior leadership positions spanning retail, business, commercial and corporate banking. His previous responsibilities have included leading market development, institutional banking and business banking initiatives, building the bank’s participations and syndications team, and serving as Regional Community President for North Central Arkansas from 2015 to 2021.
Jason has nearly 30 years of banking experience and has spent much of his career working with businesses and business owners throughout Arkansas. His experience across multiple areas of banking gives him a broad perspective on client needs, organizational leadership and the role financial institutions play in supporting economic growth within their communities.
Jason has also been active in civic and community leadership throughout his career. He has served organizations including the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce, North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Central Arkansas, Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation of Arkansas, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Rotary Club of Conway and Next Generation of Young Professionals. In 2021, he received the Dan Nabholz Emerging Leader Award from the Conway Area Leadership Institute.
