Kara Luther-Chapman

Kara Luther-Chapman joined Goodwill Arkansas in 2025, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, marketing, community engagement, and organizational growth. As Director of Development and Community Engagement, Kara leads statewide fundraising initiatives, corporate and philanthropic partnerships, grant development, major events, and community engagement efforts. Her work connects businesses, donors, funders,
and community leaders with Goodwill’s mission of changing lives through education, training, and employment.
Prior to joining Goodwill Arkansas, Kara spent four years as Director of Development and Philanthropy for Goodwill Central Oklahoma. In that role, she developed partnerships, expanded philanthropic support, strengthened donor engagement, and created campaigns that advanced the organization’s mission throughout central Oklahoma.
Kara’s career also includes leadership in the nonprofit arts and independent film sectors, including executive leadership with Pollard Theatre and Rodeo Cinema. Throughout her career,
she has focused on translating mission into strategy, building sustainable relationships, and developing creative opportunities for organizations and communities to grow.
Kara has a longstanding commitment to community service, having organized charitable events and volunteered in support of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital and other community-focused initiatives. She previously served as a volunteer committee member for Pivot: A
Turning Point and on the Board of Directors for Carpenter Square Theatre. Kara is also a member of Goodwill Industries International’s Senior Leadership Program, Cohort 42. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Nonprofit Leadership from Colorado State University Global.
Originally from Oklahoma City, Kara is a proud transplant to Arkansas and now resides in North Little Rock. She is the mother of four children; Zeek, Ashlynn, and twins Ava and Olivia. Kara is
committed to building meaningful relationships across her new home state and contributing to a stronger, more connected Arkansas.
