Lucy Cross is a seasoned environmental management professional with over a decade of experience in regulatory compliance, public service, and program leadership. Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Lucy has always had a deep connection to nature and a strong commitment to protecting the environment and the communities she serves.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Environmental Health Science and is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Business Analytics. Her career includes leadership roles at the Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment, where she has served as Director of Enterprise Services, Small Business Liaison, Hazardous Waste Inspector and Emergency Response Inspector. In these roles, she has led statewide initiatives, coordinated complex environmental programs, facilitated public outreach, and partnered with government and industry leaders to drive sustainable solutions.
Lucy’s expertise spans project management, environmental sampling, regulatory guidance, and stakeholder engagement. She’s also contributed to national advisory boards and has a track record of improving program efficiency and building collaborative networks.
Her early work in environmental consulting and veterinary assistance reflects her technical versatility and lifelong love for animals.
