Monty Harrington

Monty Harrington was born and raised in Magnolia, Arkansas. He graduated in 1993 from Southern Arkansas University with a degree in Finance. In 2006, he graduated from Barrett School of Banking in Memphis and graduated from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in 2009.

Monty has been with Farmers Bank and Trust since 2000 and has spent time as a consumer, mortgage, and commercial lender. He now serves as the Magnolia Market President.

About his position, Monty said, “The best part of my job is that I can develop relationships and help people with their needs.”

Monty has been married to his wife, Janet, for 29 years. Together, they have a son, Thomas (and wife, Karigan) and daughter, Abby.
