Nicole Herndon

National Park College

Nicole Herndon, CFRE, serves as Executive Director of the National Park College Foundation, bringing over 17 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit leadership. In this role, she oversees all philanthropic efforts to support student scholarships, workforce development, and campus improvements, connecting the College with the broader community. 

Nicole’s passion for service and community engagement is reflected in her active civic involvement. She serves on the board of the Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club as President-Elect and is a member of the Hot Springs Women’s Leadership Alliance, Fifty for the Future, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Heart Ball Leadership Team for the American Heart Association. She is a graduate of Leadership Hot Springs (Class XXXVII), a volunteer coach for The Rising Rams Volleyball Association, and serves as a Little Life Service Coordinator for New Life Church. 

Before joining NPC, Nicole served as a Development Officer at Ouachita Baptist University. She earned a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Central Arkansas and built her early career at KLRT-Fox 16 in Little Rock and KXII in Sherman, Texas, where she anchored the morning news. 

Nicole and her husband, Matt, along with their two daughters, enjoy traveling and spending time in beautiful Hot Springs.
