Dr. Robin Hickerson
Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce
Robin Hickerson serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce, where she champions leadership development, workforce initiatives, business advocacy, and strategic partnerships across the Texarkana USA region. Since assuming the role in 2024, she has fostered collaborative leadership and strategic growth, positioning the Chamber as one of the leading voices for business and regional prosperity.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Robin devoted more than 35 years to education, serving as a teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and executive director of foundation funding. Throughout her career, she was recognized for educational excellence and leadership, including being named Arkansas Middle School Principal of the Year.
Robin is passionate about building stronger communities through collaboration, leadership, and meaningful relationships. She has served in numerous leadership roles with civic, educational, and nonprofit organizations, including as past chair of the Texarkana Regional Airport Authority and past administrative board chair of First United Methodist Church in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Under Robin’s leadership, the Chamber team was recognized by AY Magazine as Best Chamber of Commerce in Arkansas in 2026, reflecting the organization’s commitment to excellence and regional impact.
In 2024, Robin received the prestigious Idalee Raffaelli Hawkins Leader of the Year Award, Leadership Texarkana’s highest honor recognizing exemplary community leadership and service. She is also a recipient of the Texas A&M University–Texarkana Distinguished Alumnus Award. A lifelong advocate for education, opportunity, and collaboration, Robin believes the greatest accomplishments are achieved when people unite around a shared vision. She and her husband, David, are proud to call Texarkana, Arkansas home.
